A free update called Jungle Storm has brought the Predator – as seen in the revered movie of the same name, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary – to Ubisoft’s open-world shooter Ghost Recon Wildlands.

As you can see from this trailer, the intimidating hunter’s special abilities, such as infra-red vision, appear to be fully intact. JungleStorm adds a Predator Special Challenge to Ghost Recon Wildlands, which players will be able to take on solo or co-operatively with up to three others. Ubisoft is billing it as the “Most difficult fight” in the whole of the game.

Defeating the Predator will bring Ghost Recon Wildlands players plenty of rewards, including a Predator mask which brings Predator-vision; in all, Jungle Storm’s Predator Pack adds 15 new Predator-inspired customisation items and weapons, and a new close-combat move.

Jungle Storm also brings a new Ghost War PvP class, inspired by the main character Dutch from the movie, which features a Battle Rage mode. Plus the update adds a new Pathfinder class, along with gear and gameplay updates for both the base game and its PvP modes.
