Nintendo Labo kits now ready for pre-order

Following their announcement last week, Nintendo’s Labo Kits for the Switch are now available for pre-order.

As a result, we now know how much the innovative modular cardboard kits which transform the Switch into various “Toy-Cons” will cost. The Toy-Con 1 Variety Kit, which lets you make RC Car, Fishing Rod, House, Motorbike and Piano Toy-Cons will set you back £59.99, while the Toy-Con 2 Robot Kit – which lets you build the accessories to turn yourself into a battle-robot – will cost £69.99.

In addition, Nintendo has unveiled an £8.99 Customisation Set, which encompasses tape rolls, stencils and stickers that can be used to customise your Toy-Cons once you have built them. Although given that the kits are made of cardboard, you could achieve much the same effect with coloured pens.

In case you missed it, here’s the announcement trailer for Nintendo’s latest attempt to generate all-new gameplay experiences.
