God of War set to arrive on April 20

Sony’s semi-rebooted God of War exclusive for the PlayStation 4 has at last been given a firm release date of April 20.

The latest chapter in the saga of Kratos will see our uncompromising hero, having given the Gods of Olympus a good kicking, move on into the realms of Norse mythology. And this time around, he has a son to look after – as the video below demonstrates.

That taster of the upcoming action suggests that this time around, Kratos will be wrestling with his inner demons – whereas in previous games, self-reflection wasn’t something that he bothered with much. In what will be the fourth game in the series, you can expect the full-on, gory action to come with some thought-provoking elements, which should provide a heady mix indeed.
