Ex-S.T.A.L.K.E.R.  devs unveil new Battle Royale game Fear The Wolves

Developer Vostok Games – which made S.T.A.L.K.E.R. – has unveiled a new Battle Royale first-person shooter, entitled Fear The Wolves.

The game, which will launch “In 2018”, on PC and unspecified consoles, promises: “A new and original take on the Battle Royale genre.” It will drop players – either solo or in squads – into: “The oppressive environments of a radiation-ravaged Chernobyl.” Typically, 100 players will fight it out until the last one is standing.

Vostok Games and publisher Focus Home Interactive have shed a bit of light on the gameplay: “Players will need to worry about more than just other survivors. Across the hostile wastes, everyone is threatened by deadly anomalies and the dynamically-changing weather. Along with a day-night cycle, this constantly forces survivors to adapt their strategies, and players can find protective gear that allows them to explore dangerous off-limit zones.”
