Red Dead Redemption 2 leak points to Battle Royale mode

Alleged development documents obtained by Trusted Reviews suggest that Red Dead Redemption 2 will have a Battle Royale mode.

Little is known about what form the Battle Royale element of the hotly anticipated Wild West action-adventure – recently delayed until October 26 – will take. But the presence of the Battle Royale-style Motor Wars in GTA Online lends credence to the rumours. The leaked documents also indicate that Red Dead Redemption 2 could get a first-person mode.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick even commented (in a non-committal way) on the presence or otherwise of a Battle Royale, in a recent investor Q&A. He said: “Titles, even really good titles that are derivative never seem to do as well as innovations that are unexpected. That said, of course, we play in the world and are informed by what’s going and bring consumers what they want.” We’ll bring you more news about Red Dead Redemption 2 when it arrives.
