Warner Bros has announced that it will release Lego: The Incredibles later this year.
The latest Lego game version of an animated film franchise will be developed, as per usual, by TT Games, and will be released for Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on July 13 2018.
That’s the same day on which the film Incredibles 2 will hit cinemas worldwide, and Warner Bros says that Lego: The Incredibles was: “Inspired by both Incredibles films.” Tom Stone, Managing Director of TT Games Publishing, said: “The Incredibles franchise, full of super-powered characters, adventures and teamwork, combined with all of the humour, puzzle-solving elements and unexpected surprises of Lego games, makes for the perfect combination for players.”
As we have come to expect from Lego games, Lego: The Incredibles will have a two-player co-op mode, and the game’s settings will include Municiberg and Nomanisan Island. Like its predecessors, it should provide an excellent means of games-based parent-offspring bonding.
