With Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s first beta programme on PC due to take place this weekend, Treyarch has announced details including minimum system requirements.
The open PC beta will initially commence at 6pm BST on August 10, for those who pre-purchased Black Ops 4 on PC, and will be opened up to all-comers at 6pm BST on August 11. It will be open to anyone who has a Battle.net account; minimum system requirements (which apply to the beta only) and other details can be found on this Treyarch blogpost.
Treyarch says: “This Multiplayer Beta showcases six modes—Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy, and Control. You will battle over six distinct maps—the four already seen at various events, plus two new ones, Gridlock and Hacienda—across playlists that showcase all the content that the Specialists revel in.”
A second Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 open beta, which will introduce the game’s hotly anticipated battle royale mode, will take place at an as yet unspecified date in September. For further information, you might want to watch the Call of Duty beta website.
