Monster Hunter World passes 10 million unit milestone


More than 10 million copies of Monster Hunter World have now been sold.

Capcom has announced the passing of that milestone on the game’s official website – having previously announced that over eight million units were sold on console, which has been topped up by over two million sales for the PC version, released on August 9, via Steam. So far, Monster Hunter World has been Steam’s biggest launch for 2018.

With Monster Hunter: Generations Ultimate set for a 28 August release on Switch, the franchise is going from strength to strength: Capcom has also announced that cumulatively, Monster Hunter games have now sold over 50 million units. Keep hunting those monsters…
