Microsoft has announced that it is bringing Xbox Game Pass to the PC.
As reported by Windows Central, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella made the announcement that Xbox Game Pass will be expanded to include the PC in a conference-call to follow up Microsoft’s full-year 2019 first-quarter earnings report.
It is currently technically possible to play some Xbox Game Pass games on PC, but only ones which are published by Microsoft (such as Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 4). Nadella provided no details regarding the move, so it is not yet known whether the subscription service will be expanded on PC to include all the Xbox One games it currently includes, some of which currently lack PC versions.
Having made the announcement of Xbox Game Pass’s expansion to PC, we can expect Microsoft to reveal a road-map for that at some point in the near future. To find out more about Xbox Game Pass, visit its website.
