NieR: Automata to get Game of the YoRHa Edition in February

A Game of the YoRHa Edition of NieR: Automata will be released on 26 February 2019 for PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam), Square Enix has announced.

Square Enix has detailed what the new edition of the game will contain: “The NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition features the base game alongside exciting digital content, including: the 3C3C1D119440927 Expansion DLC, 6 pod designs (Grimoire Weiss Pod, Retro Grey Pod Skin, Retro Red Pod Skin and Cardboard Pod Skin) and Machine Mask Accessory. Additionally, those who purchase the PlayStation 4 system version will receive a Dynamic Theme, 15 PSN avatars, the Play System Pod Skin and the amazarashi Head Pod Skin, and those who purchase on Steam will receive 2 wallpapers.”

To mark the Game of the YoRHa Edition announcement, NieR game director Yoko Taro weighed in with a droll number-related tweet.

Square Enix adds: “NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition will be available digitally on PlayStation4 computer entertainment system and PC (Steam). A physical version will also be available for the PlayStation 4 system.”

Platinum Games’ much-loved action-RPG, which sees the android YoRHa infantry take on an invading army of machines, has already passed the 3 million sales mark. For more information, head to NieR: Automata’s official website.
