The April 2019 lineup for Xbox Game Pass has been revealed, and it’s an absolutely legendary lineup.
First up there’s 2017’s Prey, a deeply underrated game from Arkane set on a space station. It’s a modern immersive sim with an engrossing atmosphere, and it’s well worth a punt if you’re running out of steam with service games.
Second, we have Monster Hunter: World, Capcom’s mainstream smash hit for what was previously a niche series with a cult following. There’s plenty of DLC on the books too, that is if you’d like to cosplay as Geralt or Ryu whilst you take down gargantuan dinosaurs.
Outside of the big two, we also have Life is Strange 2: Episode 2 and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, which is handy if you’re not caught up with the best narrative adventure games on the market right now. Resident Evil 5 will also be joining the service on April 24, which is easily the least Resident Evil, Resident Evil game ever made, but it’s a great laugh in co-op!
This is easily the best monthly lineup I’ve seen for Xbox Game Pass, and is well worth the price of entry if you fancy trying out some of the best games of the last few years.
