Ubisoft had their E3 2017 press conference last night which featured some pretty awesome game announcements. If you weren’t able to join us for our liveblog then you can check out the summary below.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
The press conference kicked off with a surprise appearance from Shigeru Miyamoto who was on hand to help announce Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Even though this game has been hit by a flurry of leaks online, it has still got to be one of the biggest surprises of E3. Kingdom Battle is probably best described as a Nintendo’s take on XCOM and it looks pretty impressive.
The Crew 2
The Crew 2 got 2 brand new trailers, we got a cinematic announcement trailer as well as a gameplay walkthrough. In The Crew 2, players will now be able to fly planes and drive boats as well as drive cars through its expansive open world.
Transference
Even though there wasn’t a huge amount of information given to us about this new VR game. We got a trailer for Transference, and the only solid information we got was that Elijah Wood of Frodo Baggins fame will be involved.
Skull & Bones
Skull & Bones was introduced with a pretty awesome looking trailer, so awesome in fact it had us questioning for a good minute or so whether this was going to be Assassin’s Creed Black Flag 2. We were given a walkthrough of how one of the 5v5 PvP modes will work in Skull & Bones. We seriously cannot wait for this multiplayer pirate game.
Starlink: Battle For Atlas
The first game to use the Nintendo Switch’s collectable controller add ons. Starlink is a space shooter which will let players explore the expanse of space, customise their spaceship and come up against some formidable alien foes. You can check out the trailer here.
Far Cry 5
We were treated to a brand new gameplay trailer for Far Cry 5. The trailer showed off some pretty awesome looking graphics and the ability to call in a variety of new characters to help you out in mission. To say I am excited about this game is an understatement.
Beyond Good & Evil 2
A game that needs no introduction, but instead gave us a great new trailer. Beyond Good & Evil 2 has been way overdue and we are so happy that it has been finally announced.
