What’s New In The Store 12th September 2017

We are always updating the Green Man Gaming store with new titles. To keep you up to date with the latest additions we thought we would give you a peek at what has been added. So without further a-do here are the latest games to be added to the Green Man Gaming store.

Fall of Light (pre-purchase)

In the beginning, there was only an excruciating, screaming void, wherein twisted souls writhed about, imprisoned in nothingness. Then the darkness was pierced by Luce, and with her came warmth and order. The time of men had begun, and would last many eras. But the 14th era is one of Darkness…”

As Nyx, an old, retired warrior, evade the Shadows and find your way through the crooked corridors of gloomy dungeons, navigate the treacherous pathways of the darkened overworld and fight emissaries of darkness in long-forgotten temples. Many puzzles and deadly traps stand between you and your goal – to bring your daughter Aether to the last place on the face of Earth that still sees light.

Inspired by games such as Dark Souls and ICO, Fall of Light rewards those who explore the world on their own and draw their own conclusions. Meet odd characters, search through every nook and cranny to unlock hidden secrets and learn more about the history and lore of the somber world around you. Pick your favorite combination of close-range weapons, crossbows and shields, determine your fighting stance and get ready to face hordes of crafty enemies. And above all, keep your daughter from harm, as she is the light piercing the darkness and the key to unlocking forbidden passages.

Realms of Arkania: Star Trail – Standard and Digital Deluxe

The united orc tribes attempted to invade the region of Thorwal, but a group of valiant adventurers thwarted their plans during their previous quest. Now the orcs have regrouped and attacked other, more vulnerable areas – Lowangen is occupied and half the Svellt Valley lies in ashes. An elf ambassador summons the party to the city of Kvirasim. To unite the races of the elves and the dwarves in the struggle against a common enemy, they must recover an artifact known as the Salamander Stone.

Yet not all is as simple as it seems: As the party approaches an abandoned dwarven mine that may hold the answers to their questions, someone else makes it clear that not everyone in the country favors a cooperation between the two races.

Star Trail is a faithful remake of Realms of Arkania’s classic sequel. This hardcore RPG features dozens of talents and spells, distinct races and character classes as well as a challenging isometric turn-based combat system. Obey your orders and succeed in your quest to retrieve the Salamander stone – the peace between elves and dwarves depends on it!

The Nothing

A surreal, blood-soaked side-scroller. Without any scrolling.

Trapped in an non-euclidean purgatory, face fourth dimensional horrors and seek a way to break the cycle and escape the tesseract.

No backtracking, the only way is forward – deeper into the hypercube.

The Nothing is a surreal and atmospheric action game with a new aesthetic, procedurally generated elements and perma-death – Designed for multiple short “runs”, with endings based on the route you’ve chosen and the actions you’ve taken.

Features:

  • Persistently store items between runs in the steamer trunk
  • Your actions and route travelled seals your fate
  • Level generation based on the overall direction of travel
  • Five separate routes
  • Twenty one bosses
  • Nine different endings

Will you be getting any of these games? Or if you have played any of them, what would you recommend?
