The Most Wishlisted Games in our Holiday Sale 2021

Wishlists are a pure expression of your desires, you want the thing either as a present or for a future purchase. You need it, but maybe not yet. They are a handy gift-giving tool, a way to treat yourself, or simply how you keep track of upcoming games.

We’re all about wishlisting at Green Man Gaming, because games are what we do. We aim to make sure you have the games you need, today, tomorrow, and forever, all at the best possible prices.

With Christmas and the Holiday Season being all about gift giving, we thought we’d focus on what you’ve been choosing to add to your wishlists. Here’s the most wishlisted games you’ve added during our Holiday Sale 2021.

Forspoken

Sometimes you just need to get away. In Forspoken, however, that might not be entirely by choice. Frey has been spirited away to the magical land of Althia where she discovers she has mysterious mystical powers to draw upon.

This new world offers both cruelty and wonders and Frey will have to navigate its many dangers to find her way home to New York. Her magic will be key to getting back to Earth and by mixing parkour and magical abilities she can traverse Althia with ease. The trailers have absolutely sold us on Forspoken and we can’t wait to dive in and start experimenting with the magic system.

God of War

The reboot of God of War took everyone by surprise for not only being a fantastic action game but also having a rich narrative focusing on the relationship between Kratos and his son.

Now, God of War’s coming to PC and we’ve got it for sale. No wonder everyone’s turning up in their droves to wishlist it during our Holiday Sale. We might just go click that wishlist button right now…

Elden Ring

If there’s one thing that FromSoftware knows how to do it’s make satisfying, deep, engaging combat systems. So the prospect that they’re combining their trademark combat with an open world adventure written in part by George R. R. Martin is extremely exciting news indeed.

Now, Elden Ring is fast approaching. Excitement is ramping up too, with small beta tests already showing that this is going to be something very special indeed. Elden Ring launches in February, 2022, and we can’t wait.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla seems to be going from strength to strength, backed by powerful expansions that are taking the game and main character Eivor to new locations filled with danger.

Dawn of Ragnarok is inspired by Norse Myth, seeing Eivor take on the mantle of Odin himself. Combining mystery with this meticulously crafted and historically accurate world, Dawn of Ragnarok looks to be the most exciting expansion for an Assassin’s Creed game yet.

GTFO

Not all games being wishlisted have yet to be released, GTFO recently celebrated hitting version 1.0 after a period of Early Access. This co-op shooter sees you and a few friends try to survive in a terrifying, dangerous place known only as the Complex.

GTFO is tough as nails but in the best way that gaming can be. Head into its dark labyrinths with a few friends and you’ll have an unforgettable co-op experience, one that’ll stick with you and demands that you try, try, and try again.

Monster Hunter Rise

The next main game in the Monster Hunter series has already made waves on the Nintendo Switch but now is coming to PC, full of enhancements and visual tweaks to make the most of its PC release.

Monster Hunter Rise is full of magnificent and terrifying creatures to hunt, new things to craft, a brand new storyline, and much more. It’s got brilliant reviews on Switch so it’s no surprise that anticipation is high ahead of its release on PC in January, 2022.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Comic book games often get a bad rap but Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is proof that they can not only be done well, but that they can hold their own against the best games out there.

Filled with life, humour, and some brilliant writing, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the best games of 2021 and a surprise hit. If you’ve been wishlisting it ahead of a sale then good news! It’s in our Holiday Sale, so grab it now with up to 35% off.

Life is Strange: True Colors

Finally we come to Life is Strange: True Colors. The Life is Strange series has taken us in unexpected directions and has given us some of the most memorable and beautifully portrayed characters in gaming.

This instalment focuses on Alex Chen who is an empath, she can see and manipulate the emotions of those around her, visualised as colourful auras. After her brother dies in a horrible accident, Alex begins to uncover the truth behind his death. If you’ve been waiting to dive in or waiting for a strong game full of human emotion to end the year on, now’s your chance.

If you’re planning on picking up something this holiday season, why not check out our Holiday Sale for all the best deals, all in one place. Convert that wishlist to a have-list.
