Now I've never been a fan of fighting games, the only one I've ever really enjoyed has been the injustice games, and that's simply because I'm a huge fan of superheros and superhero games. However, when I first got my hands on Mortal Kombat XL, That all changed I actually began to see the enjoyment to be had out of them and found myself having a great laugh with a bunch of friends. I would definitely recommend picking this up for when you have friends over or simply want to have some fun.
I love this game Even though I beat the story in one day. I would recommend buying all the add ons tho. The story is just amazing and in my opinion it has one of the best fighting styles EVER! Mortal Kombat XL has awesome graphics, flawless game play, and a solid storyline. only flaw is that it is a little light on old school characters. noob saibot, baraka, night wolf, sheeva, shang tsung, shao khan..they deserved a spot in this one and certainly the next one. faction wars was a solid move that keeps you playing. i wouldn't mind having a shiri ryu faction since we have the lin kui. overall, it's a very decent and great fighting game :)
That's the Mortal Kombat edition you need. This right here, got extra characters that you're gonna love! (no disrespect to the other ones though). Extra costumes as well. Mortal Kombat XL nowadays is the ultimate package to experience a great Mortal Kombat gameplay, with more characters (Goro, a classic one) or Predator (a weird but really fun addition). One thing to add here, is that Mortal Kombat X is still going strong with active players for Online matches. Except that, the Story (which is like watching a movie) is short but well made. The Towers, are one hell of a thing, because they are great and also got some "challenges" that vary in specific occations (for example, you can do Daily/Weekly challenge of Towers, and this can have anything to challenge you. You'll see). The Krypt is absolutely horrifying, because you're scared to move! And trust me, they did a good job making it creepy once again AND with more action in it (no spoilers). This is undoubtedly the best Mortal Kombat about the way you fight & how the fighting feels like. They really improved that. There's no way I won't suggest Mortal Kombat XL to somebody. What are you waiting for, for 16$ you will recieve a great pack of extra goodies and one of the best fighting games. 5 stars!
Provided you haven't been living under a rock your whole life, you would've heard of the Mortal Kombat series. Mortal Kombat XL entitles you to the tenth numbered instalment in the series plus two expansions on the side. The base game is fast, brutal and competitive, and I'd highly recommend it - whether you're new to the franchise or a returning fan. The two Kombat packs give you new characters to play with, and while I'd usually ignore expansions like this, cameos including Jason Voorhees and Leatherface make it bizarre yet worthwhile to try out. All in all, if you're looking for some frantic fighting fun, you'll be doing yourself a favour by trying out Mortal Kombat XL.
