NecroVisioN Lost Company is an FPS game set in World War 1 but adds a lot of monsters and undead to fight, the game serves as a prequel to the events of the original NecroVisioN with you playing as one of that game's antagonists. I feel like this one is an improvement on the first with a better opening, it gives you a better variety of guns more quickly, it seems to have less glitches, and it has a much less annoying main character. The actual shooting still isn't very satisfying though and the enemies get boring to fight, even with the game's melee, combo, and slow motion system. It's basically a B movie in video game form but it just isn't able to remain interesting all the time.

In my time I have played a fair amount of games that would fit into the first persons hooter genre and category, ranging from the likes of Crysis to Battlefield 3 and metroid and I can safely say that this game ranks with the top one in that list. Everything in this game is very well designed and pulled off with immaculate perfection and attention to detail. The graphics are stellar and the sound design is equally as good if not better, with the guns sounding punchy and realistic. The campaign is very fun and provides a great introduction to the game. The real core of the game is the multiplayer though which is awesome too! Get this game!
