Star Wars Battlefront Gets Rogue One Content

Star Wars Battlefront is getting a final expansion pack on the 6th of December. Rogue One: Scarif will be based on the upcoming movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The expansion is going to be release two week prior to the release of the Rogue One movie, which is released on the 16th of December. The update will feature four new maps set on the tropical planet if Scarif. Jyn Erso, Rogue One’s hero will also be included in the expansion as a playable character. Orson Krennic who is also one of the villains in Rogue One will also be included as a playable character.

Electronic Arts have also confirmed a free PS VR update called X-Wing VR Mission. This VR experience gives gamers the chance to become an X wing Pilot within the Rogue One story line. Players will be able to pilot an X-Wing in virtual reality and will be available to all owners of Star Wars Battlefront, regardless if you have the season pass or not.
