Blizzard have announced their latest expansion, Journey to Un’Goro, for popular digital card game, Hearthstone, which will be launching early April.
With 135 new cards being introduced to players, there are more than just your average murlock coming to the decks, Blizzard have expanded on the game’s buffing cards and have introduced a new Adapt keyword which ‘allows a minion to become infused with elemental power, granting it new properties.’ Adapt cards let you choose from three different buffs for the minion, with 10 buffs in all including,
- Deathrattle: Summon two 1/1 Plants
- +3 Attack
- Can’t be targeted by spells or Hero powers
- Divine Shield
Another exciting feature is a new card type called Quest. The one mana Legendary cards will always show up in your opening had and provide some type of quest for you to complete in the battle. An example of this is ‘Awaken the Makers: which gives you the task of using seven deathrattle cards in game and once you complete this you gain ‘Amara’. This is the Warden of Hope, a 5-mana 8 attack, 8 defence card with taunt, that has an epix battlecry of setting your hero’s health to 40.
