Much like an uninvited malevolent spirit, a new Ghostbuster VR game has appeared from nowhere for PlayStation VR.
The game titles, Ghostbusters: Now Hiring, puts players in the role of a new recruit for the ghostbusting team. Your mission is to don your proton pack and catch Slimer!
There has only been one act released on the US PlayStation store so far which costs only $7. There hasn’t been any sign of a UK release as yet but we can probably expect this to materialise soon as Sony Pictures still probably needs to flip open the ghost trap in order to release it.
Sony Picture executive Jake Zim told io9 “We put out chapter one, if people like it and see what they want, then we can add chapter two and keep going, Ghostbusters is so big you can kind of go all over the place.”
So it sounds like more episodes for the VR game should be on their way should it pick up some momentum. You can check out the trailer for Ghostbusters: Now Hiring below.
Also if you didn’t hear a while back, the Ghostbuster Video game was added to Xbox One’s backwards compatibility programme.
