SpecialEffect One Special Day fundraiser is back on 29 September


SpecialEffect has announced that its fundraiser One Special Day is back this year.

The charity has set the event for 29 September, in which companies in the games industry will support the charity by donating 100% to SpecialEffect. Companies taking part have been urged to donate 100% of that day’s sales of one or more games, advertising revenue, in-app purchases or DLCs or 100% from a dedicated promotion.

This year, SpecialEffect’s goal is to reach £100,000 in donations beating last year’s figure of more than £90,000.
