Ubisoft has announced that Season Five of For Honor will launch simultaneously for PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 15.

The free update will trigger the arrival of the Age of Wolves in the game; Ubisoft says it will: “Enhance the core player experience by focusing on Hero balancing, matchmaking and connectivity, and that it: “Will bring major hero updates, fight system changes, new customisation options and more. Dedicated servers and a new training mode will also be released during the season.”

The above trailer goes into more detail on the update. Among the highlights of what it will bring are:

  • Dedicated servers that will “Remove the resyncing, session migrations and NAT requirements that players currently have and deliver stable connectivity on all platforms.”
  • Major gameplay updates to five heroes: Kensei, Conqueror, Highlander, Berserker and Nobushi
  • Three new training modes

In addition, For Honor Season Five will bring: “Several quality of life updates including a new item that will boost XP in exchange for salvage, the shift of 4v4 Ranked Mode from Dominion to Tribute, a new reputation level cap, new gear progression and more.”

Ubisoft has gone into considerable detail about the update in this blogpost. The update will mark the first anniversary of For Honor’s original release.
