The Windows Edition of Final Fantasy XV – due to arrive on 6 March – can now be pre-ordered.
RPG-loving PC owners have had to show patience – the game originally came out on November 29, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But that patience should be rewarded: as the trailer below shows, the PC version of Final Fantasy XV takes full advantage of the graphical capabilities of 4K resolution and HDR.
Plus the Windows Edition of the game has some useful new features and content. Publisher Square Enix is highlighting the presence of a new dungeon, entitled Insomnia: City Ruins; new features including a first-person camera mode, mod support, new gear and new bosses; all the existing Season Pass DLC, namely Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades and Episode Ignis; and “Over a dozen” other items of DLC including new weapons and Regalia car skins.
On top of that, there are pre-order rewards: those pre-ordering Final Fantasy XV via Steam will get the FFXV Fashion Collection, Microsoft Store pre-orders will receive a bonus FFXV Power-up Pack and Origin pre-orders will come with a Decal Pack.
