Fortnite Battle Royale now available to all on iOS

Fortnite Battle Royale is now available for download on iOS devices.

On 15 March, Epic Games announced that the iOS version of the massively popular Battle Royale game would be available to selected invitees. But now, the iOS version of the game has been made available for general release.

There is a slight caveat: the game won’t work on iOS devices which are insufficiently powerful, and requires iOS 11 and an internet connection. Details of supported devices can be found here on the Fortnite website. But Epic Games promises that the iOS version of the game will boast: “Same gameplay, same map, same weekly updates,” as the other versions.

The arrival of Fortnite: Battle Royale on iOS devices can only render the game even more popular, and it was already one of the games industry’s most conspicuous success stories of recent years. As ever, we’ll continue to bring you all the Fortnite: Battle Royale news as it breaks.
