The 2018 edition of the London Games Festival has kicked off, bringing a number of games-related events, exhibitions, summits and forums to the capital between now and Sunday 15 April.
If you fancy attending any of the diverse events and activities, the official London Games Festival website includes a handy planner. One new addition to the festival for 2018 is the Hub, situated at Victoria House in Bloomsbury Square. Highlights of the events taking place there include keynote speeches, a Working Culture Forum and a Blockchain Forum taking place on Monday 9 April, plus AI and Play Innovation summits taking place on Tuesday 10 April. And there are various exhibitions taking place at the Hub; ticket prices for attending the Hub events range from free to £99 for a two-day all-access pass — details can be found here.
This year’s London Games Festival will climax with a Games Character Parade and a raft of family-friendly events taking place on Saturday 14 April and centred on the Guildhall Yard in the City of London, as we previously revealed.
Other major games-related events are also taking place in London this week under the London Games Festival umbrella. They include the BAFTA Games Awards, on Thursday 12 April, the London Games Festival Fringe, and EGX Rezzed which will run between 13 and 15 April at Tobacco Dock.
