Ubisoft has announced that its E3 2018 press conference will take place on Monday June 11 at 9pm UK time.
The annual event, which the giant French publisher customarily previews its biggest blockbusters for the coming year and inevitably unveils some previously unannounced games, will take place at the Orpheum Theatre in Downtown LA, the venue which Ubisoft usually uses for its E3 press conference.
Like all the big E3 press conferences, it will be streamed live, and the best place to find details of that as June 11 approaches will be on Ubisoft’s official website.
Among the big draws at this year’s Ubisoft E3 press conference are likely to be The Division 2, The Crew 2 and Beyond Good and Evil 2 (which it has previously teased). Ubisoft has a decent track record of springing surprises at its E3 press conferences: last year, its conference began with CEO Yves Guillemot and Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto revealing the previously unannounced Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle for the Switch.
It will also be worth watching Ubisoft’s E3 2018 press conference to see whether the company has a new Splinter Cell game in the works – as has been rumoured – and whether the company holds to its new policy of not releasing a new Assassin’s Creed game each year, in order to give the franchise sufficient development time.
As E3 approaches, we’ll keep you abreast of the best ways in which to stream all the press conferences, and we’ll also be reporting from the games industry’s premier show.
