Rebellion announces VR game Arca’s Path

Rebellion Games has announced that it will publish a game called Arca’s Path VR, designed to run on PlayStation VR, Steam VR, Oculus Rift, Oculus Go and Gear VR.

The Oxford-based developer/publisher says that Arca’s Path VR will be released: “This year”. The game is being developed by London-based studio Dream Reality Interactive, founded by Dave Ranyard, previously the Director of Sony’s London Studio. The Dream Reality Interactive team has previously developed or worked on PlayStation VR Worlds and Wonderbook.

Rebellion describes Arca’s Path VR thus: “In a beautifully abstract yet enchanting world, a new path lies ahead of a girl. Skill, instinct and awareness will guide her through the rich labyrinth and its dangers. To return home and to reality, she must tear down the walls of Arca.” Intriguingly, it adds that the game: “Will also feature an intuitive play style that does not require a controller.”

Rebellion will be showing Arca’s Path VR for the first time at this year’s E3 Show in Los Angeles. For further info, you might want to keep an eye on Arca’s Path VR’s website.
