Bethesda Softworks has revealed that Fallout 76’s beta programme will take place in October 2018.
As yet, the company hasn’t given a precise date for when Fallout 76’s will enter the beta stage, but it has revealed that it will come to the Xbox One first. With an online game like Fallout 76, ironing out potential glitches in the beta stage is particularly important, so the company isn’t leaving itself much wriggle-room with the game due to launch on November 14.
As detailed on its website, Bethesda is inviting those who have pre-ordered Fallout 76 to apply to enter what it amusingly calls the Break-it Early Test Application. That FAQ shows various requirements (including being over 18), and makes it clear that whether applicants are successful or not will be entirely at Bethesda’s discretion.
