Tekken 7 Adds Negan From The Walking Dead To Its Roster

As if fighting game rosters weren’t wacky enough, Bandai Namco is truly crossing the media streams by grafting personalities from TV shows into the mix.

Yes, Negan from The Walking Dead will be a playable character in Tekken 7 as part of the games second Season Pass.

The news was revealed by series director Katsuhiro Harada following the wrap-up of Tekken 7’s competitive play at Evo 2018.

The esport crown was awarded to Sun-woong “LowHigh” Yoon after he achieved a decisive victory over the returning champion, Qudans.

Following the match a trailer was shown, revealing a plethora of upcoming content for Tekken 7 fans.

As well as the big reveal of Negan, players will also be given the chance to battle with series favourites Lei Wulong and Anna Williams.

There is no word on when the Season Pass will drop, with Bandai Namco leaving an ominous “Coming Soon” at the trailer’s conclusion.

Whilst three of the characters have already been revealed, Bandai Namco has left the remaining trio up to the imagination of fans.

Tekken 7’s first season pass blessed players with Noctis from Final Fantasy XV and Geese Howard from Fatal Fury, so at this point, it really could be anyone!
