Green Man Gaming Publishing has announced that the first episode of Destination Primus Vita, titled Destination Primus Vita – Episode 1: Austin, has been released.

Developed by Epsilon Games, Destination Primus Vita – Episode 1: Austin is a first person space puzzle adventure game with a deep focus on narrative and character. This is the first release from Epsilon Games, a studio consisting of former Ubisoft staff including an executive producer and lead character artist.

Destination Primus Vita will feature six episodes, each one set from a different character’s perspective on board the interstellar ship Beaufort. Taking place in the year 3044 after the Earth’s water has been stolen by a nefarious alien race known as ‘The Shatters’. The crew of the Beaufort, accompanied by NIM, the A.I. of the ship, are in cryosleep on the long journey to Primus Vita to reclaim the Earth’s missing water.

Speaking of the launch, Anne Gibeault, Episilon Games Creative Lead and author of the tie-in comic and novel trilogy said: “This episode is just the start of our star-spanning sci-fi saga. We’re ready to share this universe with our players and hope they empathize with the threats Crew 121 faces, whether external and alien, or internal and very human.

Destination Primus Vita – Episode 1: Austin is out now on PC and Mac, and will be released onto PS4 and Xbox One in coming months.
