Nintendo Direct Scheduled For Later Today With Focus On Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Strap on your tin foil hats folks, there’s a new Nintendo Direct on the horizon.

Nintendo has finally set a date and time for their quarterly hype bonanza. The next instalment of Nintendo Direct is occurring today, February 13 at 10 PM GMT.

As always, it’s difficult to know what to expect from Nintendo. They’ve been full of surprises and tough to pinpoint since the announcement of Joker from Persona 5 coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

We can speculate that we might see some of the phantom thief in action ahead of the DLC’s release later this year.

One certainty is that we’ll be receiving more detail on the elusive Fire Emblem: Three Houses. All we know about the game beyond snippets of footage is that its launching in Spring 2019 and will be the first mainline FE game on the Switch.

Outside of that, the Direct will be a whopping 35 minutes long. We know how much Nintendo can pack in in such a short space of time, so get ready to have your hearts broken when they don’t reveal the Jet Set Radio Future remaster we’ve all been waiting for…

This would also be ample time for Atlus to reveal their plans for Persona on Switch given the Smash Bros collaboration. Late last year domains were registered and speculation was (and still is) rife about the possibility of updated Persona games coming to the portable console.
