Microsoft is believed to be on the verge of announcing a discless version of the Xbox One called the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition.
Rumours that Microsoft is preparing to launch a version of the Xbox One without an optical disc drive have persisted for some time, as we reported. Now German website WinFuture claims to have obtained the leaked information that the discless console will be released on May 7, 2019, called the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition.
WinFutures believes that the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition will come with one controller, a 1Tb hard disk and will have a retail price of around £200. The rumours about the arrival of the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, with an attractively low price-point, are in line with Microsoft’s focus on digital downloads, with the company preparing to push its Project xCloud streaming service.
