Square Enix shares details of E3 press conference

Square Enix has announced details of its forthcoming press conference at this year’s E3 Show.

In a tweet, the Japanese publisher revealed that its press event will take place on Monday 10 June at 6pm Pacific Time (2am British Summer Time on Tuesday 11 June). It will stream the event – head to this webpage for details of how to watch it.

The Square Enix press conference’s 6pm Monday time-slot was traditionally occupied by Sony’s press conference in previous years, but has been vacated by the Japanese platform holder which announced that for the first time in the show’s history, it won’t attend E3.

Square Enix’s tweet promised that: “Square Enix Live E3 2019 kicks off another exciting line up of titles!” The most anticipated of which is the Final Fantasy VII Remake, which the company has been working on for some time: hopefully, it will finally be given a release date at this year’s E3. Fans are also keen to find out the first details of the currently unannounced Avengers game which Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal are jointly developing.
