Ghost Recon Announcement Teased by Ubisoft

Ghost Recon: Wildlands

Ubisoft has teased an imminent announcement pertaining to the Ghost Recon universe.

In a tweet, the French publisher said: “Calling all Ghosts. Tune into the #GhostRecon World Premiere event May 9 at 11:30 am PT.” Ubisoft also teased the announcement – the time of which translates to 7.30pm on May 9 in the UK – on the Skell Technology website, Skell Technology being a fictional company from the Ghost Recon games.

Understandably, Ubisoft has given no hints as to what it will announce on Thursday May 9, but it is now over two years since the last major game, Wildlands, was released, so hopes are high that an all-new iteration of the game will be unveiled.

Ubisoft has continued to support Wildlands with DLC – the latest being a free Special Mission entitled Operation Oracle, which became available on 2 May. For details of that, and how to tune into the May 9 announcement, visit the Ghost Recon: Wildlands website.

Feel you missed out? you can pick up the Ghost Recon: Wildlands Ultimate edition with all DLC and season passes on the Green Man Gaming store here.
