Google Stadia adds 10 more games to its launch lineup

Having drawn a fair amount of heat from the public with it’s launch line up containing only 12 games revealed last week. they have decided to move up the timeline for 10 more and add them to the launch day line up.

Vice President at Google and General Manager of Stadia, Phil Harrison, admitted that they “were perhaps a little conservative in our forecast last week and (most importantly) our partners did an awesome job getting last few kinks ironed out and through testing.”

The 10 games added include:

  • Attack on Titan: Final Battle 2
  • Farming Simulator 2019
  • Final Fantasy XV
  • Football Manager 2020
  • Grid 2019
  • Metro Exodus
  • NBA 2K20
  • Rage 2
  • Trials Rising
  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood

Leaving only a further 4 titles that will be added before the years’ end:

  • Borderlands 3
  • Darksiders Genesis
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
  • Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Though this is a considerable improvement on the original announcement it still leaves early adopters with only a handful of games on the platform until newer titles are released next year. There also has been no announcement on how much gamers will be paying to own these games on top of the monthly fee to use the service.
