We are incredibly proud to announce that Green Man Gaming's co-founder and CEO, Paul Sulyok, has been named a finalist in the 2026 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards, shortlisted in the Established Business of the Year category.
Known as the Grammys of entrepreneurship, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards celebrate the most exceptional and inspiring business stories across the UK, recognising entrepreneurs from every nation and region for their innovation, impact, and resilience. What sets these awards apart is their focus on the person behind the business: the decisions made under pressure, the determination to push through setbacks, and the ambition to build something that genuinely lasts. Past winners include the founders of Grenade, ClearScore, Zilch, and Unbiased, many recognised early in their journeys and now household names in their respective industries.
The 2026 shortlist reflects just how strong the field is this year. From over 5,000 applications, 740 businesses were selected, collectively representing £3.3bn in combined turnover, more than 17,700 jobs supported, and over 2,700 new roles being created. With 10 UK regions and nations represented and 50% of shortlisted businesses already selling overseas, the Class of 2026 is a true snapshot of the breadth and ambition driving British entrepreneurship right now.
For Paul, this recognition is the result of a journey that started in 2010 with a clear but bold vision: to prove that an independent company could compete and grow at the very highest level of the global digital economy. What began as an ambitious digital storefront has since evolved into a multi-faceted global platform spanning retail, publishing, and international distribution - one that now connects millions of players across 195 countries.
