The Ghostbusters video game has been added to the Xbox Backwards Compatibility programme. This means fans of the game will now be able to play it on their Xbox One console.

The Ghostbusters video game was originally released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in 2009, with the original film cast lending their voice talent to the game. A lot of Ghostbusters fans consider this title as a sequel to the Ghostbusters 2 film which was originally released in 1989.

As well as Ghostbusters, six more titles were added to Xbox backwards compatibility yesterday. Players will now be able to play Strania, The Splatters, Scrap Metal, Dragon Age: Origins, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3.

There are over 300 titles now available for Xbox One backwards compatibility, with many more titles being announced over the coming months and beyond. A full list of backwards compatible titles can be found on the official xbox website.
