With each FIFA comes a new wave of exceptional talent and there is nothing players like more than tracking down the next wonderkid or potential star to add to their team. Anyone who pays attention to the world of football will know all about players like Mbappe, Haaland, Donnarumma and Alexander-Arnold. But what about some of those who are a little more unknown or maybe not on everyone’s radar? We won’t be looking at FIFA 22 best players with the highest ratings, as no doubt you already know them. Instead, here are some of the FIFA 22 best young players with some of the highest potentials, who we think you should keep an eye on.

FIFA 22 Best Players – Goalkeepers
At the age of 19 Maarten Vandevoordt still has a lot of developing to do. Currently at Genk, this youngster has a potential of 87 – one of the highest in the game.
Available on a free transfer, Charis Chatzigavriel has a fairly low current rating of 58, but at the age of 17 that’s to be expected. His potential is 84; at zero cost, you can’t really go wrong. There are a few other options that have a potential rating of 83, but Man City’s Gavin Bazunu is the cheapest of the bunch, making him a good choice to take a closer look at.
FIFA 22 Best Players – Defenders
Nuno Mendes of PSG will be an expensive signing, but has the potential of 88. And being 19, he will have plenty of time to repay you! Currently playing at Ajax, Jurrien Timber would also be an excellent addition with a potential rating of 86 and a decent valuation of around £10 million.
If you’re looking to spend a little less, FC St. Gallen’s Leonidas Stergiou is a good shout at around £2- £3 million. A potential of 86 means he can become a real star.
FIFA 22 Best Players – Midfielders
Ryan Gravenberch is a real future star with a potential of 90. However, he is likely to set you back a pretty penny with a valuation of around £30 million. Noni Madueke from PSV is another future star with a potential of 88 and should be a little less pricey.
Once again, if you’re looking to save some money then Nicolo Rovella of Juventus (on loan at Genoa) would be an excellent option. Valued at £3.5 million with a potential of 87, he looks like an excellent bargain.
FIFA 22 Best Players – Forwards
Of the elite wonderkids, Barcelona’s Ansu Fati is potentially the cheapest with a value of £15 million. His potential rating is 90, meaning he could go on to become one of the best players in the game. 18 year old Adam Hlozek from Sparta Praha is a much cheaper option at around £8.5 million with a potential of 87.
Finally, a real potential bargain is 17 year old Dane Scarlett from Tottenham. His potential may be a little lower at 86; however, his £1.7 million valuation makes him a bargain.
