What is the Wheel of Mystery?
Wheel, it’s a Mystery.
Sorry.
It’s a magnificent thing, a glorious circle of joy. It’s where dreams come true and heroes are made. It’s where we as a company get to give back to you, our community, and thank you for the love and faith you’ve shown in us.
The best thing about the Wheel of Mystery is that the games you get from it are brilliant, some of the best and biggest games out there.
The second best thing is that it’s free to take a spin. Let’s talk details.
How do I get a spin?
You have to earn it. We have a currency here, a community currency. One that costs you nothing to earn.
They’re called Greenbacks. No we don’t know why we called them that either, it seemed a good idea at the time.
When you’ve earned 100 Greenbacks, you’ll have enough to spin once on the wheel. How do you earn Greenbacks? There’s a variety of ways – and these are just the ones we have now, we’re working on new ways of earning Greenbacks all the time.
- Make a post on our forum and get one Greenback (you won’t be credited with a Greenback until we complete our spam-sweep each day)
- Link your Steam, Twitch and Facebook to your GMG account and get ten Greenbacks for each task (just go to your account settings to do this)
- Surprise community activities (you’ll get surprise Greenbacks)
You can always check how many Greenbacks you’ve got in your Green Man Gaming profile. That number at the top you’ve been scratching your head at? Yeah that’s Greenbacks.
You’ve posted, you’ve linked, you’ve joined our community, and you’ve started to get your Greenbacks. Then it happens, you hit the magic number. One hundred.
Now I got my Greenbacks, what now?
Now you buckle up pardner, and take those Greenbacks for a ride.

What can I get?
There are five games on offer for each wheel so you’ll have a 20% chance of getting each game.
For February’s Lunar New Year Wheel we have the following:
- EVE Galaxy Pack
- Resident Evil 2
- Rainbow Six Siege Advanced Edition
- Onimusha Warlords
- PUBG
So for the grand sum of nothing other than posting on our community forums, you can get Resident Evil 2 or Onimusha Warlords. I don’t know about you, but that seems like a pretty decent offer.
Be aware that we have limited numbers of keys for each wheel. So you’ll want to get in quick because free games go fast, even if you have to earn your spins.
What happens when the Wheel runs out?
Simple, it goes away for a while.
But each month it’ll be back. When? Well, you’ll just have to pay attention to our community forum and our social media feeds for that news. It’ll be a surprise when it happens, but it’ll be a good surprise.
Do you have any boring legal stuff I should read?
Yeah go over here and read it for terms and conditions and the like. It’ll tell you limitations, rules, that sort of thing.
