The second Pokemon Sun and Moon mission has been revealed and it looks a lot easier to accomplish that the first mission given to players.
In the first Pokemon global mission, players were tasked with catching 100 million Pokemon from the time period November 29 to December 13. The final countdown of the task fell extremely low at only 16.5 million being caught.
In the new global mission, players will need to catch or defeat 1 million Pokemon using the Island Scan feature.
The Island Scan feature can be earned in Pokemon Sun and Moon by earning 100 points from scanning QR codes, which allows players to find Pokemon that exist outside the Alola region Pokedex.
This second global event started yesterday and it will run until January 9th 2017 23:59 UTC. You can earn big in game rewards from accomplishing the mission.
