It has been announced that Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be launching on the July 11 2017 for PlayStation 4.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is the remaster of 2006’s Final Fantasy XII, and Square Enix revealed the games release date during their 30th Anniversary event for the Final Fantasy franchise.
This remaster will include the International Zodiac job system that was first introduced as a Japan-Only update for the original PlayStation 2 game. The Zodiac job system lets players to assign roles to their characters. This in turn provides the characters with new skills and stat growth opportunities.
It was noted last summer by the games producer Hiroaki Kato, that the original character progression system in Final Fantasy XII would over power the characters by the end of the game. With the International Zodiac job system included this will provide a greater variety of customisation to the players characters.
