Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has revealed that some of Hitman 2’s action will take place in Colombia.
As the video below shows, adding Colombia to the stealth-em-up franchise’s roster of locations will bring lush rainforest action. Warner Bros said: “This new setting will put players directly in the heart of a dark and dangerous South American rainforest, providing a vastly different canvas for Agent 47 to carry out his deadly missions. Truly a living, breathing jungle environment with threats lurking around every corner, Colombia will feature a unique gameplay experience with multiple paths to explore, unparalleled game depth and countless interactive possibilities for players.”
The company added: “Hitman 2 introduces new ways to play with Sniper Assassin mode, a standalone feature that brings a co-op experience to the Hitman series for the first time, allowing two players to work together online to take down their targets. Sniper Assassin is available to play now as an early access bonus for consumers who pre-order the Hitman 2.”
Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment is also running a Sniper Assassin competition for which the grand prize is: “Getting their name and likeness included in future Hitman 2 content.” To enter that, click here. Hitman 2 is due for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 13 November. For further information, keep an eye on its website.
