New character Kage kicks off Season 4 of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

Capcom has released a new Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition character called Kage, marking the start of the game’s Season 4 content programme.

As the video below shows, Kage is basically an evil version of Ryu, with red eyes and a pair of horns, although he isn’t actually Evil Ryu. Capcom tweeted part of his back-story, saying: “Kage, the Embodiment of the Satsui, has arisen in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition! Manifesting due to Ryu’s rejection of the Satsui no Hado, Kage hungers for power to prove Ryu is nothing without him.”

For a more detailed insight into every aspect of Kage, check out the Capcom Unity blog. His moves are not dissimilar to those of Ryu and Evil Ryu, but with plenty of twists.

Kage is now available to purchase either for £4.99 or 100,000 Fight Money. He became available as part of an update which went live yesterday and also included various balance updates. For more Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition info, keep an eye on its website.
