Nintendo have announced that their iconic character Mario is no longer a plumber, and according to the company, now focusses on “everything cool.”
Reported by Kotaku, Nintendo have updated Mario’s profile page on their Japanese website. The page says that Mario is no longer doing professional plumbing work, the website now states that Mario is “All around sporty, whether it’s tennis or baseball, soccer or car racing, [Mario] does everything cool. As a matter of fact, he also seems to have worked as a plumber a long time ago…”
