Far Cry 6 Weapons – Everything You Need To Know

It’s a commonly-known fact that if you’re trying to overthrow a nasty dictator in a video game, you basically need the collective arsenal of a small country to get the job done. Like all the previous games, the weapons in Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6 certainly don’t disappoint in this regard, so we’re here to fill you in on all the weapons that you can use in your struggle against the villainous Antón Castillo and his seemingly-inexhaustible supply of gun-toting goons.

How Many Weapons Are There In Far Cry 6?

There are 91 weapons in Far Cry 6 – that’s a whole lotta bang-bang. There’s more than meets the eye with that total, however, as not only do all of those weapons fall into eight different categories, but there are “unique” variants of those weapon types. These provide not only a fancy skin, but exceedingly-good stats too. The eight different weapon types are:

  • Launchers
  • LMGs
  • Resolver weapons
  • Rifles
  • Shotguns
  • SMGs

Exploring Riders Republic Multiplayer Modes

Racing takes on a new dimension in Ubisoft’s massively multiplayer Riders Republic, which was released on October 28, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game takes extreme sports to new heights by making them truly competitive in colossal 50-player races.

In Riders Republic, you are able to bike, snowboard, ski, and even soar through the skies in flying wingsuits across a massive open world. Each sport is divided into different styles like freestyle, urban, or country, giving you the chance to specialize and make a name for yourself in the sport that suits your style best.

In addition to the wide variety of sports, there are plenty of multiplayer modes that amp up the competitive thrill. Here’s a look at what you can expect:

Riders Republic Multiplayer Modes

Riders Republic

Multiplayer is at the core of Riders Republic, and you’ll be surrounded by other players at all times. From leaderboards to dynamic matchmaking with players nearby or engaging in similar activities, the world is full of interactions—whether you’re competing or just enjoying the open world.

Beyond the passive multiplayer experience, there are several dedicated modes you can dive into:

  • Competitions: Face off against other players in various PvP matches. These can range from trick challenges where you perform stunts for points, to races that test your speed and mastery of movement, and even elimination challenges where you’ll compete in a series of events to become the ultimate racer.
  • Multiplayer Team Modes: Join forces with teammates for 6v6 PvP challenges. A core component of Riders Republic is forming groups with friends or fellow players. The game supports voice chat, and you can easily teleport to your teammates’ locations to keep the group activities flowing smoothly.
  • Mass Starts: This is where the “massive” in massively multiplayer comes into play. Several times an hour, enormous 50-player races will kick off at various points across the map, giving you the chance to earn stars by finishing well in these massive showdowns against dozens of other players.

In addition to these modes, you’ll constantly encounter other players out and about, allowing you to group up with them, challenge them, or simply ride together through the game world. Any challenge you come across can be turned into a competitive race or trick challenge against your friends, giving you endless opportunities to show off your skills.

Riders Republic Local & Split-Screen Multiplayer

Riders Republic

If you’re wondering about local or split-screen multiplayer, unfortunately, Riders Republic does not feature these modes. The game’s design, with its constant online connectivity and social spaces, means that it focuses on providing a consistent experience for all players, which is why local multiplayer was not included.

Although there is no official confirmation of split-screen being part of the game, the absence of local multiplayer suggests that this feature won’t be coming to Riders Republic.

Conclusion

While Riders Republic does not support local or split-screen multiplayer, it offers an expansive online multiplayer experience that’s constantly evolving. Whether you’re racing in huge 50-player events, competing in smaller team challenges, or just cruising through the world with other players, there’s always something exciting to do. With its blend of extreme sports and competitive gameplay, Riders Republic is the ultimate playground for anyone looking to push their limits and take on new challenges.

Back 4 Blood Zombie Types

After a few successful betas, it’s safe to say that many people are excited for the upcoming release of Back 4 Blood. A spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead, this FPS that will see players smashing and shooting their way through hordes of the undead. But what exactly will we be facing off against? Alongside your standard Back 4 Blood zombie types are several special infected with a few variants within each Ridden “family”. Let’s take a closer look at them.

Snitcher

Back 4 Blood Zombies - Snitcher

As the name might suggest the Snitcher is a zombie that will alert hordes to player locations. If you don’t deal with the Snitcher quickly enough then they will let out an ear-piercing scream that will bring the masses to your location. Not ideal. Alternatively, you can sneak around them if you’re taking a stealthier approach.

Reeker

Back 4 Blood Zombies - Reeker

This big ol’ meaty barrel of acidic undeadness is also known as the Retch or Exploder. Capable of spitting acid on players which will attract other zombies, the Reeker can be a tough opponent. They have a fair amount of health and when taken out can explode, showering the area with more acid bile and thus attracting more zombies

Stinger

Back 4 Blood Zombies - Stinger

What has four thumbs and spits goo at you? The Stinger – or Stalker/Hocker, if you will. This abomination is a tricksy little thing. Clinging to walls and lurking in dark corners, the Stinger is a highly mobile beast that can pin you to the floor with its projectile spitting attack. If you get caught by the spit, you’ll be pinned down and unable to defend yourself until a friend frees you. If you listen carefully, you’ll be able to hear them coughing which might just give you the window you need to quickly take them down before they strike. Thankfully, a Stinger doesn’t have much health. If you can hit them, they will go down quickly.

Bruiser

Back 4 Blood Zombies - Bruiser

This Back 4 Blood zombie type comes in a few other forms known as Crusher and Tallboy. It likes to get up close and personal to try and smash you with its huge, muscley arm. Keeping it at a distance is your best bet. Furthermore, the Bruiser has a weak point on its shoulder (the muscley one, not the puny one). If hit enough you will literally disarm it, making this Ridden much less of a threat.

Breaker

Back 4 Blood Zombies - Breaker

The Breaker zombie type is a hulking heap of muscle like the Tanks from Left 4 Dead. They slam on the ground creating shockwaves that will damage and knock players back. You want to keep away from these as much as possible.

Ogre

Back 4 Blood Zombies - Ogre

Ogres are hard to miss; they’re about 20 feet tall and pack a punch. With a huge amount of health and the ability to throw objects at you, you’re going to need to team up and tackle this thing all at once. Aiming for the glowing weak spots on the Ogres body will go a long way towards helping you deal with it. The Ogre is also capable of health regeneration, so if you don’t pay enough attention to it then it could just get back to full health.

It’s a good job you’ll have lots of guns and weapons to take on these Back 4 Blood zombie types, not to mention the hordes they bring with them! Back 4 Blood releases on 12th October 2021.

Everything You Need To Know About Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

As part of Marvel Entertainment’s partnership with Square Enix in 2017, we’ve seen Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics’ future output shift from potential Deus Ex and Tomb Raider games, to realising the comic book titan’s superheroes in virtual form. The first result of this partnership was the co-op brawler Marvel’s Avengers, which was developed by Crystal Dynamics and launched in 2020 to middling reviews. It’s now Eidos Montreal’s turn to tackle Marvel’s catalogue of creativity, with Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game release date set for 26th October.

Ahead of the launch, we’re going to run through everything you need to know about the game so you can decide whether it’s your cup of tea. Here are all the details you need about Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

Guardians of the Galaxy release date, platforms and trailer

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

The first thing you should know is that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is launching on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. That means you’re covered regardless of platform, but just be aware that the Nintendo Switch version uses cloud streaming technology to power the game, so you’re going to need a strong and reliable internet connection to run it.

The latest trailer for the game was shown during the 2021 PlayStation Showcase, and gave us a closer look at Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy’s playable characters, villains and raccoon sidekicks.

Guardians of the Galaxy gameplay and story

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

According to trailers seen so far, you’ll primarily play as Star-Lord and spend your time exploring alien planets with the Guardians crew. Combat engagements also focus on Star-Lord’s brawling abilities, but a key part of the loop is involving the rest of the Guardians like Groot and Rocket Raccoon to maintain combos and link together attacks.

Enemies can debuff the protagonists with weather effects, but they can also be staggered to knock them down and open them up to more dangerous attacks. Music will also play an important part in battle, augmenting certain scenes. There’s also clearly a progression system at play, as Star-Lord picks up XP after battle.

The game will also feature Telltale and Oxenfree-style narrative choices, where you can interject in conversations and make decisions that drive the narrative and the tactics of the guardians in battle. Recent trailers have also shown what appears to be some spaceship-piloting gameplay.

The story seems to involve the Universal Church of Truth and Lady Hellbender, and will naturally riff off of comic book plots and stories that fans will be familiar with. The game’s official description talks about an intergalactic war that has destabilised the galaxy, which emboldens the Guardians to try and capitalise on the turmoil with their schemes.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is now available for purchase on the Green Man Gaming Store!

Best New World Builds for Every Role: Tank, DPS, Healer, and PvP

New World offers a refreshing take on the MMO genre by dropping rigid class systems in favour of a more fluid, weapon-based approach to character progression. While you won’t be selecting a class or race at the start, the familiar MMO trifecta of Tank, DPS, and Healer still plays a crucial role in how players contribute to group content.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to specialize, here’s a look at some of the most popular and effective builds for each role in New World – and how you can adapt them to your play style as the meta evolves.

Best New World Tank Build

Core Weapons: Sword & Shield + Warhammer or Greatsword
Armour Type: Heavy

Tanks in New World are all about control and durability. A reliable build often combines the Sword & Shield – ideal for blocking and taunting – with a secondary weapon like the Warhammer for crowd control or the Greatsword for more offensive utility.

Key Abilities:

  • Shield Bash (taunt + stun)
  • Defiant Stance (damage reduction)
  • Shockwave or Calamity Counter (AoE stuns and debuffs)

Heavy armour and stamina management are key to this role. Focus on Constitution for survivability, and Strength or Dexterity depending on your off-weapon.

Best New World DPS Build

Core Weapons: Great Axe + Hatchet, Spear + Bow, or Greatsword + Musket
Armour Type: Medium or Light

DPS builds in New World are highly customizable depending on whether you prefer melee brawling, ranged precision, or mobility-focused skirmishing. For PvE, cleave-heavy builds like Great Axe + Hatchet offer excellent crowd clearing and self-sustain. For PvP or agile solo play, Spear + Bow or Rapier + Musket bring burst damage and control.

Popular DPS Combos:

  • Great Axe: Reap, Gravity Well, Maelstrom
  • Hatchet: Berserk, Raging Torrent
  • Spear: Sweep, Vault Kick
  • Bow: Poison Shot, Penetrating Shot

Agility and positioning matter here, so consider Medium armour for a good balance between dodge and defence.

Best New World Healer Build

Core Weapons: Life Staff + Void Gauntlet
Armour Type: Light (for +20% healing bonus)

Healers in New World use the Life Staff as their primary tool, providing strong AoE healing and buffs. The most synergistic secondary weapon is now widely considered the Void Gauntlet, which offers ranged debuffs, crowd control, and some mana regen support.

Essential Healing Skills:

  • Sacred Ground (HoT)
  • Beacon (AoE healing + damage)
  • Orb of Protection (healing + defence)

Void Gauntlet complements this with Oblivion (damage + stamina regen) and Petrifying Scream (CC). Focus on the Focus attribute for healing output, and equip perks that enhance healing effectiveness and cooldown reduction.

Best New World PvP Build

Core Weapons: Rapier + Fire Staff, Ice Gauntlet + Void Gauntlet, or Bow + Spear
Armour Type: Light or Medium

PvP in New World demands mobility, burst, and control. One popular and flexible setup pairs the Rapier—with its evasive manoeuvres and stuns—with ranged pressure from the Fire Staff or Ice Gauntlet. Others opt for Bow + Spear for long-range poke and close-range CC.

PvP Highlights:

  • Rapier: Fleche, Riposte, Evade
  • Ice Gauntlet: Ice Shower, Entombed, Ice Storm
  • Fire Staff: Pillar of Fire, Incinerate, Burn Out

Look for abilities that offer slows, roots, or mobility—these are game-changers in both duels and large-scale wars. Light armour is ideal here for maximum evasion.

As New World continues to evolve, balance patches and new weapon additions can shift the meta. But by understanding how different weapons and roles synergize, you can stay ahead of the curve and adapt your build to suit your preferred playstyle – whether you’re charging into a dungeon, dominating PvP arenas, or gathering with your faction in Aeternum.

Experiment, adapt, and most importantly – have fun building your legend.

The Scariest Silent Hill Monsters Of All Time

There are few game series as chilling as Silent Hill. The series isn’t just renowned for horror but its psychological exploration of its protagonists and their narratives. Every monster and location throughout the Silent Hill games has meaning, either for the main character or an antagonist. It’s this layer of extra thought that elevates the Silent Hill series above many of its horror rivals, bringing real depth to fear.

Of course, whilst the locations are terrifying, they’d be nothing without a roster of monsters. Let’s delve into the darkness of Silent Hill and take a look at the scariest Silent Hill monsters of all time.

Grey Children – Silent Hill

Silent Hill Grey Children

There’s a chance that the original Silent Hill’s scariest monster may have passed you by if you played the version of this game released outside of North America, as they were replaced by Mumblers in the European and Japanese markets. Grey Children (also known as Demon Children, obviously) are tiny knife-wielding monsters that stalk Harry Mason during his first visit to the Otherworld. There are few things as scary as children when it comes to horror, and giving them knives amps that up considerably.

Valtiel – Silent Hill 3

Silent Hill 3 Valtiel

Valtiel is the everyman of the Silent Hill universe. Seemingly the janitor of the Otherworld, he cleans up after deaths, turns valves, and generally makes sure that many of the evil things to befall Heather Mason go according to plan. An angel in The Order and an attendant of God, Valtiel is blessed with an extremely wiggly head which is frankly terrifying every time you glimpse it. The picture above may give a hint of the fear he inspires, but it’s seeing Valtiel in action that makes it clear why he’s one of the scariest monsters in Silent Hill.

Twin Victim – Silent Hill 4: The Room

Silent Hill 4: The Room Twin Victim

We’ve already touched upon children being a well-worn horror trope, and for good reason. So here’s the Twin Victim, a monster from the underrated classic Silent Hill 4: The Room. It takes the form of two conjoined sleeping babies in a dirty smock, complete with stretchy arms which end in children’s hands. If that weren’t bad enough, they also whisper at you while they attack. No, thank you.

Momma – Silent Hill: Origins

Silent Hill: Origins Momma

One of the themes throughout many Silent Hill games is how trauma can reverberate throughout someone’s life, and Silent Hill: Origins monsters don’t come scarier than boss monster Momma, who really exemplifies this. Momma is a representation of Travis Grady’s mother, being a conglomeration of all the buried memories and horror he experienced at her death. Her eternally screaming visage tops her caged form, making her as heartbreaking as she is sad to behold. Silent Hill: Origins may not rank amongst everyone’s favourite Silent Hill games, but it does feature some truly scary monster designs.

Pyramid Head – Silent Hill 2

Silent Hill 2 Pyramid Head

No list of Silent Hill monsters is complete without the trapezoid boy himself. A manifestation of protagonist James’ guilt, he stalks the Otherworld of Silent Hill 2 committing horrendous acts of violence. Not content with trying to take out his vengeance on James, he also can be seen tearing apart the game’s Mannequins, ripping their legs apart. Pyramid Head has become an iconic figure for the series, and his inclusion in other games doesn’t always make sense, but he’s never better than when in Silent Hill 2 – a stark reminder of the game’s psychological roots.

Lisa – Silent Hills Playable Teaser

Silent Hills Lisa

Finally, we come to Lisa. Lisa is a ghost haunting an unnamed house in the Playable Teaser for the (sadly cancelled) Silent Hills. We don’t know much about the plans for her – she may even be classed as an unused Silent Hill monster due to the game’s cancellation – but she is truly the most terrifying creation ever placed in a Silent Hill game. Watching you from a balcony, stalking behind you as you repeat the P.T.’s corridors, slamming doors as she tries to reach you. She’s omnipresent and oppressive and isn’t just the scariest monster in the Silent Hill series, she may well be the scariest monster in any game.

Back 4 Blood Characters: Meet the Cleaners

Known as the “Cleaners”, the Back 4 Blood characters have got a tough job on their hands if they’re really trying to clean up. Those Ridden are a tough bunch. With 8 different Cleaners to choose from, each with their traits and starting equipment there is a good amount to pick from. So let’s take a look at all of the characters in Back 4 Blood we know about so far.

Evangelo

Back 4 Blood Evangelo

Even though Evangelo is the youngest and least experienced Cleaner, he is described as a loyal and reliable member of the team who’s quick to learn. Evangelo has traits that allow him to break free of grabs, boost movement speed and have faster stamina regen. He also starts out with a Molotov.

Walker

Back 4 Blood Walker

Elijah Walker is the oldest of five siblings. As a former Army Ranger and veteran, he’s highly skilled and has a lot of combat experience. He might be a man of few words, but what words he does use convey confidence and leadership among his fellow Cleaners. Walker has traits that boost accuracy on precision kills, as well as +10 to team health and damage.

Holly

Back 4 Blood Holly

The Devil Worm – i.e. the parasite which started this whole zombie mess – took Holly’s family from her. Since then, she has channelled her energy into being a Cleaner. With her baseball bat Dottie always to hand, she is resilient and persistent. Holly is also seen as someone who keeps

the team together and morale high. She regains 10 stamina when killing a Ridden, and gives stamina boosts to the team.

Hoffman

Back 4 Blood Hoffman

When everything kicked off, Hoffman and his mother boarded up their house and hunkered down. After the passing of his mother, conspiracy theorist Hoffman left his house to face the Devil Worm. He’s now found a new family with the Cleaners, and his meticulous and enthusiastic nature has seen him fit in well. Hoffman has traits that increase ammo capacities and gain an extra inventory slot.

Mom

Back 4 Blood Mom

Always putting the needs of others above her own and never shirking from a challenge, Mom is a tough character who knows how to handle all situations. Since the death of her son, Mom has just one purpose – making the Ridden pay. Mom has a few support-focused traits, including an instant revive trait and increased support inventory.

Doc

Back 4 Blood Doc

Doc is an independent person and has been instrumental in keeping Fort Hope up and running. She has excelled in this thanks to her no-nonsense attitude and pragmatic outlook. Unsurprisingly, Doc also has support traits like being able to heal a teammate for 25 health once per level.

Karlee

Back 4 Blood Karlee

Secretive Karlee isn’t quick to let anyone else in. She only trusts herself and has been surviving on the outskirts of Fort Hope since the collapse. Technically, she’s not a Cleaner, but Karlee has certainly sided with them since things took a turn. Her traits allow her to sense hazards, boost team use speed and extra quick inventory slots.

Back 4 Blood might look a lot like Left 4 Dead, but its traits and card systems make it stand out its own and the game is looking excellent. It’s coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.

Tales of Arise Characters and Party Members

The newest entry in the long-running Tales series, Tales of Arise is set to immerse JRPG fans in a huge world filled with new characters, adventures, and the series’ trademark real time combat. As you quest through Tales of Arise you’ll meet plenty of party members, with six confirmed so far.

It’s time to take a moment to meet who you’ll be spending your time with as we take a closer look at all the Tales of Arise characters we know about so far.

Alphen

Alphen is who you’ll be spending most time with as he’s the first main character of Tales of Arise. Caught between the conflict between the planets of Dahna and Rena, Alphen is a swordsman without a past who’s looking to bring freedom to the Dahnan people. We’re sure during your adventures you’ll find out just why he’s forgotten his life prior to the game with some hefty surprises that are bound to pull the rug out from under your feet.

Shionne

From the other side of the conflict comes Shionne, the second protagonist in Tales of Arise. This Renan noble has been stricken by the terrible Curse of Thorns which causes intense pain on anyone who dares to touch her. However, one can bear to touch her without suffering; our amnesiac swordsman, Alphen. She’ll be an intense asset on the battlefield, as not only can she toss out a heal, she specialises in sniper rifles and fire magic.

Rinwell

Rinwell takes on the role as the party mage, despite being Dahnan, and therefore incapable of using magic. This makes her a threat to both worlds, as the existence of a Dahnan mage means everything everyone has been told is a lie. In your party she’ll bring the thunder, as well as the fire, ice, and wind through her devastating magical attacks.

Law

Law walks a dangerous path through life. A Dahnan who works to free his people from Renan control, he also is an undercover agent for the Snake Eyes, the Renan secret police. Attempting to worm his way into the Snake Eyes and bring them down from within, danger stalks his every move. When fighting he utilises powerful martial arts to deal massive damage and is a threat that can’t be underestimated.

Dohalim il Qaras

This Renan noble hails from Elde Menanica, a place where Renans and Dahnans live together in peace. Dohalim brings not only himself to the party but Kisara as his loyal bodyguard, with a history together that’ll become uncovered throughout the game. As he fights he’ll blast your opponents with his strong magical powers, making him a key component of your party.

Kisara

Kisara is renowned as one of the finest and strongest warriors in the entire Dahnan army. Acting as Dohalim’s bodyguard, there’s a central mystery to her role as a Dahnan protecting a Renan is odd in this war-torn universe. She acts as the party’s tank, soaking up damage with her colossal shield and smacking down foes with a well-wielded mace.

Hootle

Finally, we have Hootle. Hootle is a baby owl you’ll find in the company of Rinwell. We don’t know much about Hootle just yet…but Hootle has to be the most adorable creature we’ve laid eyes on for a long time.

Now you should know a few of the Tales of Arise characters you’ll be fighting alongside in your adventures as you experience the epic story behind the war between the Dahnan and Renan people. If you’re planning on playing Tales of Arise, head over to our community forum and let us know who you’re most excited to meet – we’d love to hear from you.

The Best GameCube Games of All Time

The GameCube stands as one of the finest consoles Nintendo have ever released, which in turn makes it one of the greatest consoles ever. Crammed with amazing games and sporting a truly modern controller, the GameCube was an evolution for Nintendo games and it still has an impact on gaming today.

With over 600 games released for the GameCube, picking a top five can be hard. We’re always up for a challenge, however, so here’s our list of the best GameCube games of all time.

Pikmin 2

Great things come in small packages and there aren’t a lot of things much smaller than a Pikmin. Pikmin 2 isn’t just a great strategy/puzzle game that sees you lead your horde through a variety of levels, it’s a technical masterpiece. That many Pikmin on screen at once on a GameCube running at 30 FPS? That’s some magic right there.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem

Speaking of magic, here’s a game infused with dark wizardry. Eternal Darkness is a game that truly understands horror, utilising the act of playing a game as a key component in the chills and scares. The game’s Sanity Effects almost break the fourth wall, making the game feel almost cursed as you play it. It’s a wonder to behold, and present horror games owe a huge debt to Eternal Darkness.

Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing may have first appeared on the N64 but its remaster later in 2001 meant it found its true home on the GameCube. Sometimes you just need a little time and space to build your ideal home and make some friends and nothing does that quite as well as an Animal Crossing game. With a legacy that reaches to the present day, Animal Crossing is definitely a worthy inclusion in the pantheon of the best GameCube games of all time.

Luigi’s Mansion

Luigi is everyone’s favourite brother, that’s just a fact. So it’s fitting that he should have his own game, and what a game Luigi’s Mansion is. Tasked with hoovering up troublesome ghosts, Luigi’s Mansion combines tight gameplay with pitch-perfect animation to make it one of the best entries in the entire Mario/Luigi series.

Resident Evil 4

It’s hard to remember now but Resident Evil 4 was a massive departure for the series. Gone were the fixed cameras and instead we got a third person action game set in Spain with the T-Virus being barely visible. What luck then that this risk was worth it, with a game that’s still renowned as being probably the best Resident Evil game of all time, and one of the best GameCube games ever released.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Everything You Need To Know

The last time the Aliens franchise had a shooter offering all to itself it’s certainly fair to say that it didn’t turn out especially well. However, it’s now 2021 and thanks to the folks at Cold Iron Studios we just got Aliens: Fireteam Elite, an all-new third-person shooter set in the Aliens universe which blends the series iconic setting with Left 4 Dead style cooperative shooter gameplay. It’s time to heft your pulse rifle and check your grenades, because we’ve got everything you need to know about Aliens: Fireteam Elite right here.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite Crossplay

Aliens: Fireteam Elite doesn’t support crossplay between different competing platforms at launch, it does however support crossgen play between common platforms. This means that PS5 owners can play with PS4 players and Xbox Series X/S players can get stuck in with Xbox One players. Nice.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite Single Player, Multiplayer Modes

Yes, Aliens: Fireteam Elite does support both single-player and multiplayer game types. Though you’ll be put into a group of three Colonial Marines, the game will fill any vacant spots with AI buddies, always ensuring that you’ll be able to play the game without having to worry about the social calendars of others. Also, Aliens: Fireteam Elite permits solo play across the entirety of its four story driven campaigns, too. At launch, Aliens: Fireteam Elite only supports online multiplayer with no local co-op option initially available.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite Classes

Keeping things nice and varied, Aliens: Fireteam Elite has five character classes – Demolisher, Doc, Gunner, Recon and Technician for players to choose from, each with their own strengths, weaknesses and unique perks. The Demolisher can unleash mini-rockets, flamethrower, Smart Gun and a devastating grenade launcher, while the Doc is a healing class that can create a Trauma Station to reinvigorate any nearby allies. The Gunner meanwhile is a great all-rounder beginner class with a snappy Pulse Rifle and quick movement, the Recon class possesses an extremely powerful sniper rifle and support bot, while finally the Technician is all about setting up turrets and traps to keep foes at bay. It’s worth noting that the Recon class only becomes available as soon as you’ve beaten the Aliens: Fireteam Elite campaign for the first time.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite – What’s The Story?

Taking place some 23 years after the gruesome events chronicled in Alien 3, Aliens: Fireteam Elite stuffs players into the boots of an armed-to-the-teeth Colonial Marine stationed aboard the USS Endeavour as they fight against an expansive and seemingly endless Xenomorph incursion across outer rim worlds, abandoned corporate labs and mysterious alien ruins. Aliens: Fireteam Elite boasts four story campaigns with three missions each that can be tackled in single-player with AI controlled bots or online in cooperatively flavoured multiplayer.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Who Are The Enemies?

With around twenty different enemy types it’s fair to say that you’re not going to run out of bad folks to blast apart anytime soon. In addition to the ‘regular’ Xenomorph that we all know and fear, Aliens: Fireteam Elite has your merry band of Colonial Marines tangling with Face Huggers, synthetic soldiers and the pant-fillingly powerful elite Praetorian Xenomorphs. Much more than just an avalanche of Giger inspired horror, the Xenomorph threat will employ a wide range of stratagems to tear your unit apart including flanking tactics, focusing on lonely players (just… Stay with your group) and the use of walls, ceilings and vents to get the job done.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite Challenge Card System – What Is It?

From Left 4 Dead to the more recent World War Z, cooperative horde based shooters have always had a number of mechanics to keep things fresh and to ensure that replay value is maintained over the longer term. In Aliens: Fireteam Elite the Challenge Card system fills this role, allowing players to choose from a range of different cards that each have a positive or negative effect on the mission you’re about to play. For example, you might choose one card that creates fewer elite level foes, but another player might pick out a card that prevents you from being healed until your health hits 50%, making each playthrough feel keenly different from the last as a result.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite Release Date

Aliens: Fireteam Elite has just released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on August 24, 2021. Quite simply, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is available on basically everything which, you know, is nice.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite Microtransactions, Lootboxes & DLC

Happily I can report that Aliens: Fireteam Elite does not include any microtransactions or stinky loot boxes. In terms of post launch DLC, developer Cold Iron Studios has said that it intends to release a whole bunch of the stuff but has yet to provide specifics. For me? Give me the Fiorina “Fury” 161 penal colony from Alien 3 as an extra map though and I’ll be happy.

How Multiplayer Works in Humankind: A Complete Guide

Do you like pretending to be the god-king of mankind? Well, good news! The fine folks at Amplitude Studios (Endless Legend) have launched Humankind, their self-proclaimed “magnum opus.” Humankind is a 4X strategy game, so it’s for fans of games like Sid Meier’s Civilization VI or Stellaris. It’s out now, and while it is primarily a single-player experience, you may be wondering about the game’s multiplayer features. In this article, we run through what to expect from the game’s multiplayer suite, if that is something that you’re thinking about before you drop your hard-earned coin on Humankind.

Multiplayer Features Explained

As well as having a robust single-player offering, Humankind offers a multiplayer mode for up to eight players at once. To access it just click on Play on the main menu, and then Multiplayer. Once you hit the lobby screen, you can choose to join another game with strangers, or type in a Lobby ID in the top-left corner to join a friend’s lobby, if they have a code to share.

If you’d like to host a game, you can just click New Game and set up your own multiplayer match. You’ll see the Lobby ID in the top part of the screen, which you can copy with the button just next to it and send to your friends so they can join the game. Once everyone’s in, you should see all of the leaders lined up, depending on the number of competitors you’ve chosen to play with. You can allow spectators if you wish, and change the permissions of the lobby from public to private if you don’t want random people joining the lobby.

On the left-hand side of the screen, you’ll also be able to choose the world size, the pace of gameplay and the difficulty of the match before you start, with extra options inside each node. You can then pick the map you want to play on and the downloadable content you’d like to use in the game. Once you’re happy with all of that, you can ready up and start playing Humankind in multiplayer. Just keep in mind before you kick things off that it is purely player vs player multiplayer only at the moment.

At present, there’s no cooperative mode or team creation setting in multiplayer. It makes sense, given the focus on building a unique, personal civilization in Humankind. It’s unclear whether cooperative multiplayer features will arrive in the future, but this is the situation for now at least.

According to Humankind’s Steam page, your leader avatar’s aesthetic will evolve as you play the game, and their visual style can persist in multiplayer matches. This means you can give your friends an idea of what kind of dictator they’re going to be up against by customizing your leader before you enter a multiplayer match. One of the avatar sets available to those who buy the Digital Deluxe Edition is Edgar Allan Poe, if you want to strike gothic fear into their hearts!

Best FPS Games to play in 2021

FPS games are all about putting you at the heart of the action, immersing the player in the world they’re exploring and delivering adrenaline fueled set pieces. Every year we get new fantastic experiences to accompany beloved franchises that still provide some of the best gaming moments. We’re going to take a look at some of the best fps games 2021 has to offer whether  they’re new, or old.

Escape from Tarkov

Escape from Tarkov is a challenging game that will punish you over and over again. But that feeling of surviving your first raid is one of the most gratifying feelings in gaming. Gear up and enter a raid where you will encounter tough AI characters and other real players. Whether you’re looking to complete quests, find good loot or look for firefights you’re never going to be short of action. With no player markers, limited maps you will find yourself lost and not knowing if you’re looking at a friend or foe. One thing is for sure, that when firefights break out they can be the most engaging gunfights you will likely take part in.

Hell Let Loose

After a couple of years in early access Hell Let Loose has now fully released. This epic tactical WW2 game has 50 vs 50 multiplayer matches across iconic and realistically recreated locations. With brutal and bloody squad focused gameplay you will feel immersed from the moment you deploy. Work together with your own squad and others to gain the upper hand in battle.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

It may be over 10 years old but Counter-Strike is still pulling in hundreds of thousands of players every day. With its tactical team-based game play and huge skill ceiling, this game can keep you entertained for hundreds of hours as you master your favourite weapons, learn all the best spots to peek or not peek across the maps and the best spots for throwing grenades to provide vital cover. With competitive and casual game modes there is something for every skill level. There are even some more fun and silly game modes to play around in just to mix things up a little more.

Call of Duty: Warzone

Another behemoth of a game that continues to deliver action packed fun and new ideas with each season is Warzone. With the Battle Royale genre blowing up a couple of years ago it was no surprise to see the COD franchise create their own version. But as interest in the genre and new Battle Royale games are few and far between, Warzone has kept players engaged with its seasonal content model.

Apex Legends

Another Battle Royale game that has remained relevant for a number of years now thanks to the continued support from Respawn is Apex Legends. WIth new game modes, new Legends, new weapons being added to the game alongside the new season content it’s easy to see why the game firmly sits among the top played games on steam and remains one of the best fps games 2021 has to offer.

The Best MMOs you can play in 2021

Massively Multiplayer Online games, or MMOs, have come a long way since the days of Multi User Dungeons and Meridian 59. Now, MMOs are a staple of gaming, with many different flavours and varieties giving players a huge amount of choice in what kind of MMO they want to play. From space to swords and everything in between, here’s our picks for the best MMOs you can play in 2021.

Guild Wars 2

It’s hard to believe that Guild Wars 2 is nearly ten years old. One of the MMOs that pioneered the ‘buy once, play forever’ approach to picking up the game, Guild Wars 2 contains a truly immense amount of content and revitalised how MMOs play.

With frequent, easily joinable collaborative events dotting the world and rewards for exploring its high fantasy world, Guild Wars 2 is a brilliant game for anyone to dip into. The true highlight of Guild Wars 2’s systems is it’s peerless PvP, making it a must-play for anyone who enjoys the thrill of the fight.

PlanetSide 2

PlanetSide 2 is a game that puts the ‘massive’ in Massively Multiplayer. Able to support thousands of players in a huge war between three factions across its science fiction setting, PlanetSide 2 is a truly stunning achievement.

Combining first-person shooter action and role-playing systems with up to 2000 players active on each in-game continent, you’ll never be starved of targets to hit or team up with. PlanetSide 2 is immense in every sense of the word and is still going strong in 2021.

EVE Online

Speaking of immense, here’s the other science fiction MMO that has truly colossal ambitions. EVE Online may on the surface appear to be a game about piloting a spaceship, upgrading it, making alliances, trading, or indulging in combat. When you’ve been playing for a while you realise that EVE Online is no less than an attempt to simulate the economy and political maneuvering of an entire galaxy.

Giant corporations battle for control over space stations and resources, with complex stories of betrayal, victory, and loss emerging organically through play. EVE Online has a steep learning curve, but once you’re embedded in it you’ll see why it’s not just one of the best MMOs in 2021, but one of the best MMOs of all time.

The Elder Scrolls Online

From the far future we’re heading to the past, or at least the past in the Elder Scrolls universe. Set a thousand years before Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls Online is an MMO that puts the focus on its story, with hundreds of fully voice-acted quests that embed you deeply in the lore of the series, spinning tales of inscrutable daedra, racial conflict, and powerful magics.

It took a while for this MMO to find its feet, but now it has it’s absolutely sprinting with each expansion improving on its formula and adding new features. Its latest chapter, Blackwood, has seen AI companions enter the fray, giving everyone a spot of company on their adventures. The Elder Scrolls Online is a must for any Skyrim, Morrowind, or Oblivion fan, and is a truly engaging MMO that’s accessible to all.

Final Fantasy XIV

Finally, we come to the current leader of the pack. Final Fantasy XIV is a game that, like other MMOs, struggled on its release. Square Enix were bold with it, however, taking it off the market and retooling it. What emerged from this period of re-development wasn’t just a brilliant MMO, but one of the best MMOs ever created and even potentially one of the best Final Fantasy games.

With each expansion for Final Fantasy 14 bringing new stories that sweep the player up in world-changing events, facing bosses that dwarf the player and their party and running dungeons that test your abilities whilst telling compelling stories. Final Fantasy XIV is currently taking over the world and when you play it – even for a short while – you’ll understand why.

With many MMOs currently available it’s hard to pick out the cream of the crop but hopefully you should now have an idea of what some of the best MMOs of 2021 are. If you’ve played an MMO before, let us know which is your favourite over on our community forum – we’d love to hear what you have to say.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Horse Guide

No cowpoke is complete without a trusty steed, and few games understand this as much as Red Dead Redemption 2. Though carriages and carts do exist in the dying embers of the Old West, horsies are the main means of travel in Rockstar’s rooting-tooting sequel. In this piece we’re going to run through some tips for getting the most out of your Red Dead Redemption 2 horse, to help you traverse the landscape in speedy style.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Horse Guide

Having a better horse in Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to make the entire campaign easier, especially given that you’re going to be travelling cross-country between missions and wrangling fleeing outlaws on a regular basis.

You’ll be given a horse as part of the campaign and as you saddle and ride it around the landscape, you’ll increase your bond with the animal, which will improve the amount of control you have over your steed and unlock abilities like drifting and skidding. You’ll increase the meter by simply riding your horse but also feeding it, brushing it, patting it and easing it, so make sure you engage with the on-screen prompts when you find a dull moment.

Keep progressing through the campaign and you’ll eventually unlock the stables. Specifically, this occurs after the mission Exit Pursued By A Bruised Ego where you struggle to hunt a big bear with Hosea. Unlocking the stables will allow you to break, buy and store horses so that you can use them across your adventures.

How to choose a good horse in Red Dead Redemption 2

The main problem you’ll face in the game’s campaign is that the best horses with high speed and acceleration only unlock very late into the game, and they’re very expensive to buy. This makes it tricky to upgrade and get your money’s worth, as many of the early game horses have mediocre stats and are built for defence rather than speed. But if we’re being honest, getting to your destination quicker is far more important than having a tanky war horse in this game, so if you need to buy one, make sure it has high acceleration and speed rather than defence.

However, if you head to the road that courts the west side of Lake Isabella in the Grizzlies, the snowy far-reaches of the game’s map, you will be able to find a White Arabian horse that can be tamed for free. The White Arabian is widely regarded to be one of the best horses in Red Dead Redemption 2, so it’s well worth the trek.

Before you approach it, save your game. Then sneak up to it, lock on and tap the ‘Calm’ prompt to make sure it doesn’t bolt as you approach. Once you get close, you can then mount the horse and tame it until it stops bucking. You can then put your saddle on the White Arabian and you’ll have the best horse in the game. I believe there are some horses you can buy that have better stats, but this one is totally free, so the value for money is ace.

Cyberpunk 2077: All Endings Explained

Remember Cyberpunk 2077? Of course you do, else you wouldn’t be wondering about all the different ways you can complete it. CD Projekt Red’s remarkable dystopian open-world game offers a number of interesting endings that players can attain if they make the right choices, and we’re here to help guide you through that process. So if you’re struggling to wrangle Johnny Silverhand towards the conclusion you desire, read on for a guide to all of the possible endings in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 Point of No Return

You’ll know that you’re at the end of Cyberpunk 2077’s narrative when you reach the mission called Nocturne Op55N1. V is asked to head to a club called Embers, and the rest is history. Before you head inside, be sure to make a save so you can head back and fool around in the open-world. You also want to make sure you complete as many side quests as possible before you enter Embers, so that you’ve got the most amount of options on the table when the final set of choices arrive. With that in mind, let’s talk about all of the potential endings in Cyberpunk 2077, and how you can get them.

Every ending in Cyberpunk 2077

The ending  of Cyberpunk 2077 adapts to your choices based on key decisions in the campaign, the side quests you’ve completed and which characters you romance or speak to. But crucially, there are five main paths that you can achieve based on dialogue choices that you choose when you’re on the roof with Johnny Silverhand during Nocturne Op55N1. Spoilers, obviously!

V takes their own life

Before we dig into the main endings that feature extra missions, there’s another way to conclude Cyberpunk 2077 we need to talk about. One option offered on the roof with Johnny Silverhand is for V to take their own life. To make this choice you have to pick one of the three main options, Arasaka, Panam or Rogue, and then say “Hang on. Need a minute”.  Once that’s done, pick “Could also just put all this to rest,” and then toss the pills when prompted. After a chat with Johnny, you’ll hear a gunshot and the game will end.

“Think trusting Arasaka’s risky but worth it”

No funny business here, as long as you saved Takemura during the campaign, you don’t need to have completed anything else before choosing this path. Just pick this option and you’ll head to Arasaka Tower with Hanako, fight a lot of goons, meet Saburo Arasaka, fight Adam Smasher and uh… we’ll leave that last part for you to find out, but let’s say it’s pretty interstellar!

“Gonna ask Panam for help”

Another ending path you can choose involves Panam and the Nomads, but you need to have completed all of Panam’s Side Jobs before you enter the Embers club. So before you engage with Nocturne Op55N1, make sure you wrap up every Panam mission on your map leading up to ‘Queen of the Highway’, which is the final mission in her questline. In this path you’ll become an Aldecaldo and enlist Panam’s help to raid Arasaka Tower, with a cool tank in tow.

“Think you and Rogue should go”

To activate this ending you need to have completed all of Johnny Silverhand’s side jobs before you enter the Embers club. This means completing his questline up to the final mission, ‘Blistering Love.’ You’ll know you’re doing a Silverhand side quest as you usually have to cede control to his influence on V’s mind. Once done, pick the Rogue option on the rooftop and you’ll raid the tower as Johnny with Rogue’s help, fight Adam Smasher and make a crucial choice in cyberspace.

Cyberpunk 2077 Secret ending

The final ending is a bit cheeky. Players discovered that there’s another choice you can make on the rooftop if you jump through some hoops. To achieve this one you have to have completed all of Johnny Silverhand’s quests up to ‘Blistering Love’ as you did for the Rogue ending. You also need to have a good relationship with him throughout the game, so answer nicely during dialogue prompts when you’re completing his quests. Then you need to pick the “Think you and Rogue should go” option. Once that’s done, wait around five minutes (don’t touch anything) and Johnny will pipe up with another plan. Pick the “Let’s hear this plan” option and you’ll go on a wild death march, storming through Arasaka Tower with Johnny Silverhand.

The Scariest Resident Evil Monsters Ranked

Resident Evil is a series that has redefined fear in video games time and again. From the first game to Resident Evil Village, the series has specialised in bringing horrifying creations to life in extremely grotesque detail through its disturbing monsters.

It’s time to take a look then through the catalogue of Resident Evil monsters, focusing on the scariest and most terrifying enemies in the series. So take a deep breath, calm your nerves, and let’s dive into the most terrifying monsters ever created.

Mr. X – Resident Evil 2

Mr. X is terrifying for two simple reasons. The first is his unstoppable nature, coming across like a deadly cross between the Terminator and the Nemesis seen in later games. The second reason Mr. X is one of Resident Evil’s scariest monsters is because he’s almost human in appearance.

There’s a chilling feeling being pursued by something with a blank human expression, always focused on your death but not showing any emotion. It harkens back to being chased by blank-faced serial killers in films such as Halloween, but as always with Resident Evil, it has a grotesque twist.

Marguerite Baker – Resident Evil VII

Speaking of grotesque, here’s Marguerite. The matriarch of the Baker family, Marguerite has become unhinged due to the mutations she’s undergone, and worse – she has gained control over thousands of skittering, teeming mutant insects.

She’s responsible for some of the scariest moments of Resident Evil VII, and some of the most disgusting. When you finally see Marguerite’s form you see the swollen, distended hive that has grown from her body. It’s the stuff of nightmares and makes her a worthy inclusion in any list of the scariest Resident Evil Monsters.

Lisa Trevor – Resident Evil (2002)

Lisa Trevor had a terrible life even before mutations took hold of her. Experimented on and raised in seclusion, Lisa Trevor experienced the worst of what humanity has to offer. Twisted by her upbringing and the experiments she was forced to endure, she has become a super-strong creature obsessed with collecting human faces.

A shambling wreck bound by her captors and to life through her own regenerative abilities, Lisa Trevor is one of the scariest monsters in the Resident Evil series, in part because of the sadness of her backstory as well as the truly horrifying appearances she makes throughout the 2002 version of the original game.

Regeneradores – Resident Evil 4

There’s a clue to one of the reasons Regeneradores are so scary in their name. They are resistant to most forms of damage and can even regenerate limbs should they be separated from their bodies.

Living bioweapons, their gaping maws and slow approaches mark them out amongst Resident Evil 4’s enemies. They walk towards you, always coming no matter how many rounds you fire into their bodies. Whip-like cords reassemble their lost pieces in moments, making them a truly terrifying foe to face.

Nosferatu – Resident Evil – Code: Veronica

Finally, we come to Nosferatu. Like many creatures on this list, Alexander Ashford is as much a victim as he is a monster. However, in his case, Alexander caused many of his own problems. After many experiments whilst working for the Umbrella Corporation, some of his own creations captured him and forced the T-Veronica virus upon him.

This mutated him into a bloodthirsty, vampire-like creature who was swiftly captured and entombed in a secret room. Finally unleashed in Resident Evil – Code: Veronica he is a terrifying opponent, with long tentacles that threaten to kill all who come near attached to a slim figure still bound in the centre of his twisted mass. This is why he’s definitely one of Resident Evil’s scariest monsters and something that will live on in the memories of anyone who has played this instalment.

Don’t be fooled by the Dancer, many a foe has fallen to their thrown weapons that seek out weak areas on unsuspected enemies. Their dances and moves come together in an elaborate weave of death, and are a sight to behold in any fight.

Ranged Magical DPS

Black Mage

  • Base Class – Thaumaturge
  • Weapon – Staves and Scepters
  • Starting Level – 1
  • Prerequisites – None

What’s Final Fantasy without Black Mages? The FF14 Black Mage uses powerful magics to wield elemental powers, turning their enemies to smouldering ruins or frozen statues with ease. The Black Mage is what many think of when they think of a Final Fantasy XIV job, and with good reason.

Summoner

  • Base Class – Arcanist
  • Weapon – Books
  • Starting Level – 1
  • Prerequisites – None

One of the two jobs available to Arcanists, the Summoner invokes primals, bending them to their will and using them to devastate their enemies. In addition, they can even summon a smaller and less powerful of the great Bahamut, making them a danger to any foe.

Blue Mage (Limited Job)

  • Base Class – None
  • Weapon – One-handed Canes
  • Starting Level – 1
  • Prerequisites – Level 50

The Blue Mage is a limited job in that it is focused around a more single-player approach to playing Final Fantasy XIV. Unable to take part in PvP and some other activities involving other players, the Blue Mage draws their power from mimicry, stealing enemy abilities to use as their own.

Red Mage

  • Base Class – None
  • Weapon – Rapiers
  • Starting Level – 50
  • Prerequisites – Level 50

If you want to cast some spells and look nifty with a rapier, then a Red Mage fulfills both roles perfectly. Using a combination of both black and white magic, they deal heavy damage with weapons and magic alike.

Healer

Scholar

  • Base Class – Arcanist
  • Weapon – Books
  • Starting Level – 1
  • Prerequisites – None

The second job available to Arcanists, the Scholar uses the powers of earth and air combined with faerie magic to restore health to themselves and party members.

White Mage

  • Base Class – Conjurer
  • Weapon – Canes and Wandes
  • Starting Level – 1
  • Prerequisites – None

White Mages are the purest healing job in the game, focusing almost entirely on bathing their allies in divine light and healing their wounds, buffing their defences, and curing what ails them. They may need a little defence from their party members, but a White Mage can save the day in many situations.

Astrologian

  • Base Class – None
  • Weapon – Star Globes
  • Starting Level – 30
  • Prerequisites – Level 50 + A Realm Reborn Main Story Complete

The stars foretell many things, but also can grant their power to those who seek it. The Astrologian takes the power of the constellations themselves using a form of tarot to aid their allies on the battlefield.

Sage

  • Base Class – None
  • Weapon – Nouliths
  • Starting Level – 70
  • Prerequisites – Level 70

Coming with the release of Endwalker in November 2021, the Sage protects and heals their party through use of barriers, helping keep everyone alive just a little bit longer. They can also buff their magic abilities, making them a strong choice for anyone looking for more magic on the battlefield.

The Guide To The Fastest Bikes In Grand Theft Auto 5

It’s hard to believe that GTA 5 came out nearly 8 years ago. It’s still a hugely popular game especially the online aspect and players are still wanting to know the quickest ways to get around Los Santos. Here are some of GTA 5’s fastest bikes. But if you’re going to want to get your hands on them you’re going to need to save up some money.

Apocalypse Deathbike

Introduced as part of the Arena War update for GTA Online the Western Motorcycle Company Apocalypse Deathbike is quite simply the fastest GTA 5 bike with a top speed of 150mph. The only downside to it is that it will set you back over 1 million dollars.

Pegassi Oppressor

Coming in as the second fastest is the Pegassi Oppressor with a top speed of 140mph. If you thought 1 million dollars was a lot of a bike then you’re not going to enjoy hearing the price of this one. It will set you back around 3.5 million dollars. However, it does have the added bonus of basically being able to fly or at the very least soar through the air uncontrollably for a little bit. I guess that last bit depends on how good your riding skills are.

Nagasaki BF400

Maybe you don’t have millions of dollars lying around to fork out on the top bikes. Fret not, the Nagasaki BF400 will set you back a decent 95k. For that you get a top speed of 17mph, not bad bang for your buck.

Pegassi Bati 801 & Bati 801RR

Pegassi are back with another speedy crotch rocket in the form of the Bati 801. Both of these  motorcycles have that classic Moto GP look to it and will cost players $15,000 dollars. A very reasonable sum of money. For that price you get 135mph top speed and honestly, a much nicer looking bike than the BF400.

Shitzu Hakuchou

For $82,000 dollars you can get your hands on the Shitzu Hakuchou which will give you a not too shabby top speed of 134mph. It has a similar look to both the Bati models with a little more meat on its bones.

Pegassi Oppressor Mk II

Is this even a bike? Technically it’s not because it doesn’t actually have wheels but we’re going to include it anyway. The Oppressor Mk II, much like its predecessor, is another very expensive purchase at almost $4 million dollars. However, it does fully fly and has a top speed of 127mph. The fact that it can fly is probably the main appeal of this ‘bike’ rather than how fast it goes.

If you’re looking to get away from the cops nice and fast, or win some races then these bikes are going to give you an excellent advantage in a straight line, there is no doubt about that. There’s no guarantee for how good they will be at making sharp turns however.

New World MMO Guide: Factions, Progression, and How It All Works

New World, Amazon Games’ ambitious MMORPG, offers players a sprawling, mystical land to explore, conquer, and shape as their own. Set on the supernatural island of Aeternum – a place inspired by the age of exploration and colonial expansion – it merges historical vibes with high fantasy and supernatural elements. Whether you’re questing solo or joining friends, New World delivers a sandbox world filled with PvP battles, crafting systems, and territory wars.

Let’s break down the game’s most important systems: character progression, classes (or lack thereof), and the three rival factions vying for dominance across Aeternum.

Classes and Races in New World

As always, a new MMO means there’s a tonne of new information to discover and learn about. The most important part is, of course, who you’ll be playing. What races are there, what Factions exist in New World, and what class will you choose? The answers to these questions are a little different in New World, so let’s dive into the classes, races, and Factions you’ll be seeing when you play.

Unlike many traditional MMORPGs, New World does not offer predefined classes or races. Every player starts out as a human, and your character’s identity is shaped entirely through your choices in-game. There are no elves, orcs, or warriors vs. mages here – what you become depends on how you play.

Instead of choosing a class during character creation, you’ll build your character organically by developing:

  • Core Attributes: Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Focus, and Constitution determine how well you perform with specific weapons and abilities.
  • Weapon Mastery: Each weapon type – like Greatswords, Bows, Fire Staffs, or Hatchets – has its own skill tree. As you use a weapon, you level up its mastery and unlock new active and passive abilities.
  • Crafting and Trade Skills: Everything from blacksmithing and fishing to arcana and engineering can be levelled up, letting you specialize in gathering, crafting, or refining.

This flexible system encourages experimentation and allows you to switch playstyles at any time, as long as you have the right gear equipped.

New World Factions: Choose Your Allegiance

As you explore Aeternum, you’ll eventually align with one of three factions, each with distinct philosophies and goals. Factions play a crucial role in both PvP and territory control, offering exclusive missions, gear, and influence over the world map.

The Marauders

A militaristic faction that believes in strength, freedom, and survival of the fittest. They seek to build a society free of imposed restrictions, where might makes right. Join them if you value power and independence.

The Syndicate

Shadowy, secretive, and intellectual, the Syndicate is driven by knowledge and hidden truths. Their goal is to unlock the island’s ancient secrets to bring about a new enlightened age. They attract thinkers, scholars, and rogues alike.

The Covenant

Religious zealots devoted to purging corruption from Aeternum. The Covenant sees themselves as holy crusaders, spreading their faith and delivering righteous judgment to the impure. Ideal for players drawn to justice, discipline, and order.

Once you join a faction, you’ll gain access to unique quests, faction gear, and the ability to take part in Faction Wars and Territory Control – key PvP systems that shape the game world in real-time. You can switch factions, but only once every 120 days, so choose wisely.

The MMO With No Limits

What makes New World unique in the MMO space is how it blurs the lines between classes, roles, and professions. You’re never locked into a specific path. Want to be a healing mage who can also craft top-tier armour and switch to a tanky warhammer build for PvP? You can do that.

The systems in New World continue to evolve with regular content updates and seasonal events, keeping the experience fresh while respecting its flexible, player-driven design.

Whether you’re looking for intense PvP battles, deep crafting systems, or a vast world filled with lore and exploration, New World offers a rich MMO experience that puts your choices at the centre of everything. With no classes or races to box you in and three distinct factions to align with, your journey across Aeternum is whatever you make of it.
